We are a growing community of like minded people who want to help rescue dogs in need.
Our Mission at WHAD is to help rehome, either within foster homes or forever homes, any dog in need, regardless of age, breed or circumstance.
We are fully comitted to finding secure, loving homes for the dogs in our care and we have a no-kill policy. We will never give up on a dog.
All of our dogs are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped before being rehomed.
Adoption and foster forms can be downloaded from the links below. Remember to save the file to your computer before attempting to open it.
WHAD is a non profit making organisation. We can only continue to care for dogs in need with your help.
Any donation no matter how big or small will help us to help them.
Thank you for your support.

Bela, the Bullmastiff in Hungary needs urgent help...
We Help Any Dog has been made aware of a Bullmastiff in Hungary who desperately needs help. It seems he has been surrendered by his owners and is thankfully now in the care of a rescue in Hungary. He is in a terrible state due to having some sort of loop around his neck. He has now had some surgery but the medical bills are big. WHAD will be sending the money raised from the walk to help with the costs. We are also accepting donations on behalf of the hungarian rescue which we will ensure reach this dog. Please click here to read more about Bela's story.
1st May WHAD Walk, Denge Wood, Canterbury
A lovely day was had by all who attended the walk today, even if some of us did get a little lost! It was a beautiful sunny day with lots of great dogs and people. A total of £132 was raised with donations and sales of liver cake. Hope to see you all again at the next WHAD walk.
Dog Shows...On Easter Monday the WHAD team attended the Companion Dog Show at Northbourne Village Green. These shows are organised by the Manston and District K9 Society and are always a brilliant day for all the family. The Society have been kind enough to run their next show in aid of WHAD, this will take place on the 5th June. Please click here for more info on this.
Dog Walks...We have started to hold dog walking get togethers at various locations in Kent. The latest one was at Capstone Country Park in Gillingham. A lovely time was had by all - humans and our 4 legged friends alike. Our next walk is planned for Sunday 1st May at Denge Wood, Pennypot Lane, Canterbury. Everyone welcome. Please see our events page for more info on this and other events.
WHAD have been busy raising much needed funds for the dogs in our care. You may have spotted us at the
Westmoor Farm bootfair in Rainham or the bootfair at Drews Field near
Ash in Kent. Please check our events page for details of upcoming events
and information about where we will be with our fundraising stall.
The WHAD and KGR Christmas Bazaar went ahead on the 18 December. Despite the snow, we managed to raise some funds for the dogs in need. See our gallery page for pictures of the event. Gallery
