Day 49 Toffee Bon Bon
Phew! We are back to being 8 dogs. Young Dexter the loony one went to his new home today, so then the FP had to clean the bedroom he was using before the other two-legger got home from uni. For some reason I wasn’t required for my hindering skills today.
I went to Pets at Home with the FP & the Chauffeur so we could buy Dexter a new collar and lead, and get him a tag with his new post-code, as we want him to be legal! There were some very friendly people there today, and I was given several biscuits and cuddles. A girl can never get too many of those. I now weigh 14.5 kilos, and I look pretty good on it, even if I do say so myself.
The rest of the day I have mostly been trotting round after the Chauffeur for a change. I had cuddles this morning as he read his book, and I’ve followed him to the kitchen as he makes coffee and I usually get a treat. If he forgets I say Raaoooo! And make him laugh. I make myself laugh too sometimes!
Rubigan was nawty, he pinched a pot of fish food, snuck it off to Monty’s bed, and scattered it everywhere! The FP nearly had a fit, because she had no idea what he had pinched, and thought he’d got hold of some chemicals or something! Eeek! He stinks of fish now, so don’t accept a kiss from him if he offers!
Oh and we’ve found a job for the carpet cleaner, as it’s been redundant for a while. It’s visiting Millie-foster dog tomorrow, as Millie has a bit of a problem. Won’t the CC be pleased! I’m happy to report that my problems in that department are definitely a thing of the past. I haven’t had an accident for at least 2 weeks, if not 3. Pity the same can’t be said for some of the other girls here! But the FP says they were never taught, and a life producing babies and living in squalor means they can’t help it. But they do their best, and they’re great friends to me, so we just accept the good along with the ‘bad’. We had a super cuddle together today . . . see my photo.
Who’s coming for a walk on Sunday? I’m looking forward to that!
