Day 50 Toffee Bon Bon
I had a super walk on the beach this morning, with Rubigan, Doli, Tattycoram and Winnie Wotsit. Doli was chasing the ball all the way up the beach because the Chauffeur was flinging it with a launcher. I chased too, but I’m not as fast as Doli. So I decided to kill the seaweed instead, and I found a new variety that was quite tasty. It looks like a sponge and I was quite happily eating it despite the FP saying I should not as it makes Rubin sick. The FP prised it out of my mouth and flung it in the sea . . .I was so indignant I dashed in after it, but it went quite far out and before I knew where I was I was right under the water! My head bobbed up and I got caught in another wave, and the FP and Chauffeur headed in my direction! Luckily the next wave washed me closer to them, and I touched the sand with my feet. It made me cough and splutter! It didn’t stop me trying to eat the spongy seaweed though, however I didn’t chase it back into the sea!
On the way back the FP and Chauffeur stopped for coffee. We didn’t get ice creams! So I eyeballed a lady eating one to see if I could make her feel guilty, but it didn’t work. Lots of dogs went past and said hallo, and we met Billy the puppy bulldog and a huge golden-poo (RetrieverXpoodle silly!)
This afternoon Tattycoram had to go and see the emergency vet. She seems to have a wee infection and kept squatting and not doing much, then she started passing blood. So she was given a huge drink of milky water, and then off to the vet where she had injections and some tablets. She seems a little out of sorts, but will soon be better we hope. So she won’t be coming to the Minnis walk tomorrow with me. Not sure who will be coming with me, but I’ll definitely be there. See you all at eleven.
