Manston and District K9 Society Dog Show in support of WHAD. 5th June 2011
A great day was had by all, despite the rain. A fantastic total of £841 was raised which will be a huge help to the dogs in our care.
Many thanks to all who came to support us, to the businesses and individuals who kindly sponsored show classes and to everyone who donated items for our stalls, games, raffles and tombolas.

Lovely day supporting SEDR dog show. WHAD judged prettiest bitch and best rescue. Super dogs, friendly people, great day.

WHAD Christmas Bazaar 2010
WHAD supporter Eliesha with Father Christmas and one of his Huskies.  On the 18th December WHAD and Kent Greyhound Rescue held a Christmas Bazaar at the Thanington Neighbourhood Resource Centre in Canterbury. Unfortunately it was a very snowy day, which stopped many people from being able to attend. However, we still managed to raise some much needed funds for the dogs in our care. Thank you to everyone who came along to show their support and thanks to all that helped out despite very long and snowy journeys to and from the centre. |
